The firm was founded in 1997 by Investment Banker, Oliver W. Holmes. He has successfully lead the firm to win and close lucrative mandates across most industry segments, adding significant value to our clients’ businesses.
Mr. Holmes is a career Investment Banker who started his career at Citibank where he served as a senior manager in virtually all aspects of Citibank and its subsidiaries operations in Jamaica, including Vice President – Corporate Finance, Financial Controller – Citibank Jamaica and its subsidiaries, Corporate Banking Group Head, Managing Director – Citifinance Limited, Manager – Centralized Operations and Chief Inspector for the Caribbean region. During his career at Citibank, he led or participated in many notable transactions in the Jamaican and international markets.
Prior to establishing Capital Options, Mr. Holmes was the Chief Operating Officer of Manufacturers Merchant Bank Ltd., a leading merchant bank in Jamaica.
Mr. Holmes serves and has served as a Director of Tier 1 companies listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange and on the Boards of private companies. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and holds a B.Sc. degree in Management Studies (Hons.) and a M.Sc. degree in Accounting (Hons).
